"The soul is the mirror of an indestructible universe."
Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz

Leibniz was born on July 1, 1646 in Leipzig, Saxony (now Germany). He was an great mathematician as well as philospher. He is probably most well known for developing integral as well as differential calculus indepentently of Sir Isaac Newton. He rubbed elbows with the best mathematicians of his time including Newton abd Johann Bernoulli.

Leibniz is also known to have used math and logic to explain the existence of evil in the world. According to Leibniz, if we didn't have evils, like natural disasters, we would be worst off. He argued that if there were no more evil in this world, it would cause such a drastic change in all the laws of math and physics that this world would be impossible to live in.
